Bellambi bluestone is a dense, hard, dark coloured, fine grained igneous rock that is very versatile. Unlikemost bluestones, the holes are barely visible.The colour ranges from black to a dark grey depending on its finish. The stone also has remarkable depth - a hallmark of quality.

The density of the material allows many different finishes -

* Polished – the bluestone shines like a mirror - an appealing choice for office foyers and commercial fit-outs.

* Honed – is a dark grey/black surface colour with a velvet appearance suited to indoor wall and flooring - a stunning product.

* Flamed – a surface finish (pictured above around a pool & in the 3 images below) that has a soft leathery character that is ideal for outside use where traction and safety are important.

* Natural - in its natural split form, Bluestone is available as cobbles for use on driveways and paths. They are very strong and the split face finish creates good traction. The dark grey/black colour is very practical as it shows no dirt or rubber tyre marks.
