Coolum Sandstone - Portico
Coolum sandstone is the colour of Bondi Beach sand and is very similar to the familiar honey coloured Hawksbury sandstone that is abundant in Sydney.
This sandstone is popular because of its soft, honey colours. The stone in the image below has been laid on a concrete base and fixed with a rubber based adhesive.
This stone is quite porous so sealing with two coats of a penetrating sealer is recommended.
