Cladding Confusion - Please Read to Discover More Affordable Options
Cladding or facing as it is sometimes called, is a simple way of decorating walls. We have images of specialised cladding products below. These are the more decorative options which cost a little more because they are more difficult to make.
The simplest and cheapest form of cladding for walls are plain tiles 12-20mm in thickness (see sample images below), with no intricate borders or patterns. If this idea appeals to you, then check out any of our sandstone, quartzite, slate, limestone & bluestone tiles. If we don't have a size that suits, we will order it in especially. Ring us if you would like to discuss your project - the options are limitless!

Sensational Sandstone Cladding at Affordable Prices
A sandstone block wall stretches the budget on most building projects. Veneer cladding 25 -35mm thick however is very affordable. Used over brick, besser brick or concrete, sandstone and quartzite cladding offer a convenient way of dressing a wall.

Sandstone Cladding Matches Willow Tiles
Bellstone’s sandstone cladding is quarried in Rajasthan, India – not to be confused with sandstone generically marketed, but incorrectly labeled “Himalayan stone”. This cladding is part of Bellstone’s willow range of sandstone. It is popular for use on walls for residential and commercial projects; it is also used for landscaping applications and retaining walls.
Willow sandstone cladding has a natural split surface with hand scalloped edges and whilst “willow” is always in stock, large format and louder, more “grainy” cladding products are available by special order.
Specialty sandstone edge and surface treatments e.g. dressed borders & sparrow pecking can be customized to suit client requirements. Large format sandstone for veneer work is also available by request.

Quartzite Cladding Offers Versatility with Micro Maintenance
Quartzite would be an easy winner if there was an award for a low maintenance stone. Quartzite cladding is elegant as well as practical – it is extremely hard and has low water absorption properties. The strength and density of the material makes it an ideal material for cladding walls.
It is very glamorous as it glitters under light and is an ideal product for indoor applications such as feature walls, especially in areas where special effects lighting is used. It is also being used by interior designers as a decorative medium to add glamor to bars, counters and shop-fronts in shopping malls.
Quartzite's natural water resistance makes it ideal for outdoor use as well; it is used for landscaping applications and garden and park water features.
