Bari White Marble Tiles - Bathroom, Kitchen & Living Room Flooring
Bari White Marble Characteristics
Bari is a brilliant white marble with soft, almost blurred movements of colour running through it like cloud formations. The marble is thin with a honed surface and edges that have been rounded off.
Thin Tiles - Better Quality
Stone maufacturers select the thickness of their products to suit the stone so that breakages are minimised. Anytime a stone tile is cut to 12mm in thickness it is usually an indication of fantastic quality. So it is with Bari, a marble with beautiful resonance and strength. We are very excited about this stone.
Photo Colour Distortion - Sorry!
The images on this page do not accurately reflect the whiteness and brightness of this marble so we suggest you let us send you a sample if you are interested in Bari. The photographer sends his humble apologies!
Sizes Suit Bathroom Floor Wastes
The 600x300mm tile is the preferred choice for use on bathroom walls; larger format tiles tend to make small spaces seem bigger. This size though may make you unpopular with your tiler if you intend to use them on a bathroom floor. This is because the floor surface needs to taper toward floor and shower wastes (i.e. drains) in a funnel shape to allow for drainage. Tilers prefer smaller size tiles to do this properly so the 300x300mm tiles will be preferred.
In more modern bathrooms, elongated drains in front of the shower recess can double for floor & shower waste; tapering tiles in one direction to shed water is relatively easy so the larger format (600x300mm) tiles may be used.
