Roof Slate from Campo- The Pick of Spanish Roofing Slates
The Spanish Campo roofing slate is a premium grade, dark grey, non-fading slate with a fine grain and flat surface that makes it ideal for any roof construction or restoration work.
Roofing Slate Quality Assurance & Standards - Campo, Spain
Campo slates meet both CE and NF standards, the latter being a very significant benchmark because the French testing authority (LNE) chooses the slate they wish to test randomly and they conduct tests more frequently than the European Norm (CE)
Tests on Campo roofing slates have consistently shown no evidence of iron pyrites that are present in many other Spanish slates. The NF (French Norm) rating of A1, S1, T1 means the slate has low water absorption, resistant to atmospheric pollutants and is free of pyrites.

Campo Slate owns three quarries; Cabana slate has been chosen by Bellstone as the slate most suitable for the Australian market. The slate has good character which distinguishes a roof from manmade tiles and some of the darker, very thin, plain slates that were once popular.
