Pattini Roof Slate - Roofing Slate Suppliers, Bellstone

Pattini Characteristics
Pattini is a fine grained grey/black slate with an attractive grain that runs down the length of the slate. The surface is clean and even with a fine grain but the slate has character by virtue of its thickness and chamfered edge.
Slate once laid on a roof shows slight variation in shade from dark grey to a grey slightly lighter; this may give the roof a stippled character. This is more evident in the image below than it is in the two images above.

The slates have no mineral intrusions or reports of rust from roofs in Ireland, UK or Europe where the slates have been used for 14 years without problems.
The garage with a Pattini roof in the image above, sits next to a farm house in Northern Ireland overlooking some lush, green pastures and lots of fat cattle!
