NATURAL STONE FLOOR TILES
Breathtaking Quality, INDEPENDENTLY Tested & Guaranteed
Bellstone's selection of tiles are 12-15mm in thickness and suitable for fixing to hard, stable substrate surfaces with no cracks. Tiles are thin so they are best suited to foot traffic. All our stone is suitable for indoor floors; some are suitable for outdoor patio & verandah paving applications; some are best suited to wet areas e.g. bathrooms. Outdoor exposure to rain, dirt, leaves, moss etc makes some types of stone impractical for certain purposes. Where this is the case, pavers are a great alternative. See Bellstone's range of tiles below.
WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
"I wish to thank you for your help with our little purchase. The tiles are down and look good. We will certainly be back when we are ready to purchase some travertine for our pool surround later in the year." Donald Colville, 11/5/15.
"So very happy with your exceptional helpfulness with the selection of our stone tiles, organizing the tiler & delivery for us" - Linda Maike, Rozelle
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PAVERS & TILES?
The difference is the thickness. Tiles are thin - usually 10-15mm; they are designed to be fixed to a hard substrate eg concrete or compressed fibro. Pavers on the other hand are much thicker - typically 30mm. There is twice as much stone in a paver and that gives them enormous strength but it also increases the cost. The extra strength enables them to be used on softer substrates eg packed earth or roadbase topped with sand.If you are intending to "pave" outdoor areas that have been concreted, there is no need to use "pavers", the thinner tiles will usually be quite adequate and save a lot of money.
